  • ABET accreditation and the MENA region

    The immediate past Executive Director will speak on the accreditor's involvement in the MENA region, when it began, how it applies its standards, MOUs with other countries, reviewers, resources available, ‘goodness of fit' of its standards, readiness to pursue engineering accreditation.
    ABET, which has worked in the MENA region for several years, accredited several programs, and established Memoranda of Understanding with MENA countries.

  • Quality Assurance initiatives in the MENA Region
    MENA Quality Assurance Officials will address the purpose of the Quality Assurance Agency and the application of standards for accreditation and licensing of the institution and its programs.  Representative will also address the  process and how it prepared or is preparing for the review by the Council they will also refer to their status of building quality assurance in their country, goals for the country, strengths of the country that allow the building of a quality assurance system and challenges/obstacles facing towards building the goals.
